Ashanti Shequoiya, also known as Ashanti was born on 13 October the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actress. Ashanti, a teenage actor and singer in the US, was signed by Murder Inc. Records to record in 2002. The same year, she was featured in Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? The songs of Ja Rule include Foolish (number number one) and the track What's Luv! She became the first female artist to hold the highest two positions on the Billboard Hot 100 in America, with Foolish at number one and the other being What's Loving? The Declaration is her fourth studio-album, was released in June of 2008. Hey Baby was released for the radio and online on October 16, 2009. The actress also appeared in the movies Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British singer Aitch to accompany his track Baby on March 10 2022.
