Annet Mahendru
Mahendru's parents were a Russian as well as a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently with both of the languages. In her early teens, she choreographed an act which earned her a spot on German television as a beautiful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a playful Indian dancer. After graduating from New York's high school, she received her bachelor's degree in English degree from St. John's University. In New York, she was studying acting in the HB studio. Later on she moved to Groundlings School and took up numerous tasks. She was created at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother). Her father moved her to New York's East Meadow York, when she was 13 and a half years old. She stars in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. She was a character who appeared on The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
